Stuff is happeing, kind of.
These days things seem to happen very quickly or painfully slow. Apparently there is no in between. As previously mentioned, I’m attempting higher learning again, and I realize that this is going to take some serious time. I guess it’s fortunate that I am in a position where I can work, have a bit of a social life, and get this school thing taken care of. The unfortunate thing is that it feels like it’s going super slow, like time is ticking backwards kind of slow. I don’t have much patience, and this is definitely teaching me 1) be patient and 2) as much as it pains me, listen to your parents. So, with this new outlook, the positives are 1) I’m doing something about my situation and 2) it will totally pay off in the end.
I really need to apply this new patience to my work situation…..Not thinking or talking about that on my day off.
So, the two people that I would call my closest friends have big things happening for them tomorrow. My friend Catherine, is starting a new position in her current company, and I know she is going to be super. This job comes with lots of perks, like the awesome fact that she gets to move back to the city, jealous. While Catherine is starting a new job, my dear friend Leah is interviewing for an awesome job with a very prosperous Atlanta based company. Again, she is super awesome, I know she’s going to nail the interview. Since both of these succesful ladies were at one point or another my supervisor, I’m hoping theydon’t mind if I use them as references….Maybe? Get back to me on that.
